These terms govern your use of The Sonic Gallery, a local Android music player published at thesonicgallery.app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app
The Sonic Gallery lets you scan audio files you already have, browse them, and play them on your phone and, where supported, Android Auto. Version 1 is free and does not include accounts, ads, or in-app purchases. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app.
Your files
You keep all rights to your audio files and any metadata you stored in them. The app needs permission to read folders you select. You are responsible for having the right to play those files. We do not provide a music catalog or licenses to recordings.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer the app except where the law allows, interfere with other users, or use the app for anything unlawful.
Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is.” Playback quality depends on your files, device, and Android. Seamless track-to-track transitions are best-effort and are not guaranteed for every format. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, failed playback, device issues, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Some places do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law. Because version 1 is free, that amount is zero where the law allows.
Google Play and Android
Installation and updates through Google Play are also subject to Google’s terms. Android Auto is provided by Google and your car maker.
Privacy
How version 1 handles information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The updated terms apply when we post them here. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
